We have been operating the Playball Franchise in the Rondebosch area since 1996 and in the City Bowl since 2004.

Our policy is twofold:

• To teach children in such a manner that they show definite progress.
• To provide a good service to schools, parents and children alike.

In a nutshell, we work with children aged 2 to about 8 years. With the younger ones we focus on Movement and basic Ball skill development and with the older child we introduce them to the basics of 7 different sports.  Our teaching style is positive, non-threatening and fun but structured throughout. We work with small groups and the children genuinely love the classes.

We are professional in our approach and provide parents with 2 comprehensive feedback sheets annually and parent information letters with relevant matters / topics. The coaches are committed, well trained and carefully selected.

The Playball programme is very well researched and constantly updated. Our new set of manuals is underway with the 2 and 5 year old ones complete and the 3 and 4 year old ones under reconstruction at present.

Being a qualified teacher and having done my honours degree in Human Movement Science I can truly recommend Playball as an excellent, varied, structured and well researched programme for young children.
